It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Tom Hardy. He’s been pretty low profile sinceVenomcame out last October. A sequel is planned and is expected to be released next October – they’ll likely start shooting that before the end of the year if they want to build in enough time in post. While Tom hasn’t been in front of the camera though, he has been producing the BBC/FX upcomingA Christmas Carolminiseries. It’s a three-part special airing in December adapted from the Charles Dickens classic starring Guy Pearce as Ebenezer Scrooge. Andy Serkis also stars, and Joe Alwyn and Charlotte Riley, Tom’s wife, are also part of the cast.

Sentebale, of course, is the charity founded by Prince Harry in support of children and youth affected by HIV and AIDS in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi. Maybe we should just stop pointing it out since no one seems to be listening. Or maybe the apostrophes will improve after Meghan Markle guest-edits British Vogue?

Us Weeklyreported yesterday that she will guest-edit the September issue of the magazine – not a small deal since the September issue is considered to be the most important issue of the year. According to Us, “Meghan will be writing an opinion piece of her own as well as bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays”. The photoshoot is happening next week at Frogmore Cottage, although there’s curiously no explicit mention of her on the cover so…I’m thinking she may decide to appear inside the magazine but not on the front page, although if the shots are spectacular, if I’m British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, I’m pushing for her to be the face that sells the issue.

Back to Harry – it’s been a busy couple of days. After attending the concert last night, this morning he was at the launch of Made by Sport, a campaign supporting underserved young people.
