Last night was the premiere ofEnola Holmes 2. It’s one of the more grandiose Netflix premieres, asEnola Holmesis one of their biggest hits. Millie Bobby Brown was on hand, of course, as was Henry Cavill with his little forehead curl. But the event also brought out THE Mariah Carey and her kids, who have formed a celebrity friendship with MBB. She talked about it onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Look, not that I don’t want to hear about what it’s like to hang out with Mariah Carey, but I ALSO want to hear more about the luxurious life of MBB’s bunny rabbit. I have a friend with a bunny and they’re a lot of work! I thought they were supposed to be like “chill cats”, but they are not. Bunnies have no chill. I want to know more about MBB’s bunny hanging out on set! Does it nervous-poop everywhere? Bunnies do that! And does the bunny get to hang out with Mariah Carey, too? I would pay five human dollars to know how Mariah Carey reacts to a bunny.

Also present was Henry Cavill, who plays a very good and underappreciated version of Sherlock Holmes in these movies. But of course, as long as Cavill is still Superman, which he is, even a beloved character like Sherlock Holmes will take a backseat. But even though there is a lot of potential in Cavill playing an “enormously joyful” version of Superman, as he told Josh Horowitz on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, I remain more interested in his smooth and steady take on Sherlock. After a decade of hyperkinetic and/or socially awkward Sherlocks, it’s fun to see someone interpret the character as a self-contained man who is emotionally attuned enough to manipulate people, but still so logical he rules out emotions when pursuing leads. Anyway, long live Superman, I guess, but also please keep playing Sherlock Holmes, Henry Cavill.
