Oscars gossip this year has obviously been dominated by Will Smith. But there are other much less controversial celebrity gossip storylines that have been overlooked. Like the fact that two couples made their red carpet premieres on Oscar night.
B迈克尔乔丹and Lori Harvey stepped out for the first time on a red carpet together at Vanity Fair on Sunday. They’ve been a thing for over a year, and I thought we would see them at one of the carpets a few months ago when he was promotingA Journal For Jordanbut that never happened. Instead, they waited until Oscar night which… I love this for them. That they red carpet debuted themselves on Hollywood’s Biggest Night. And holy sh-t, she came to play.
Because if you’re going to make your official red carpet premiere as a couple, of course you have to serve a look. Her dress is not new necessarily in its sheerness and silhouette but the geometric design that’s happening here is great, and the colour is excellent on her, and my GOD they are attractive together:
Interestingly enough, at the time of this writing, neither one of them have posted a shot of themselves on Oscar night to their Instagram feeds. Lori’s been reposting other people’s coverage of them on stories though which is a flex in and of itself.
After Vanity Fair, MBJ and Lori hit up the Carters’ Gold Party – and it goes to show that Vanity Fair, which was at one time THE big destination, has now become the stopover party everyone hits up before the main event with Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae were the other couple premiering on Oscar night. They’ve been dating a while now and she’s referred to him in interviews before and they’ve been photographed candidly on several occasions but this is the first time they’ve stepped out at an event together, officially.

Like I said, ATJ can wear anything, but when Law gets involved, it’s always an extra level of amazingness, you know?
