The Glamour Women of the Year Awards were last night in London, bringing a lot of glamorous women out for the event. The headliner is probably Halle Bailey, whowon“game changer of the year” looking amazing in this velvet mini-dress and showed up with her boyfriend, DDG.

Halle has been fueling pregnancy rumors fora whilenow, and I’m sure, given that Halle is only 23, everyone has lots of opinions about her maybe being a young mother. AfterBritney’s revelation, I feel like everyone should have less opinions about women’s bodies and life choices, but we know how it goes. People WILL insist on having opinions on women’s bodies and life choices. Admittedly, I am of the opinion that her man seems kind of lame and she needs a dude like Travis Kelce or Tom Holland or A$AP Rocky, a guy who knows she is the superstar and is stoked to be with her because of it. DDGwrote an entire songabout how he is not that guy.

Other people showed up, too, including tall blonde drink of water Hannah Waddingham, Lashana Lynch—who wins for “most comfortable-looking dress”—Lena Dunham, Ariana DeBose, and America Ferrera, who was one of theglobal honorees的夜晚。我喜欢美国的outf的样式it, but the raw hem and structured shoulders aren’t meshing, though I do like the shorter hem to show off her big boots. Also present was Geri “Ginger Spice” Horner, and now all I’m thinking about is her eye makeup.Squawkers know.

I had a real record scratch moment with Nathalie Emmanuel. I didn’t recognize her AT ALL. Ditto for Lily Allen, who I didn’t recognize because of her red hair. Not sure what my excuse is with Nathalie, but she does look incredible in that metallic dress. It’s giving “Mother of Dragons season four.”

Besides the regular type of celebrities, the event also included members of the Lionesses, the England women’s football team, and disability activists and influencers like Sophie Butler, Fatima Timbo and Shelby Lynch. The “activist of the year” wasawarded toLove Islandstar Georgia Harrison, who was a victim of image-based sexual abuse (aka revenge porn) and went on to see her ex-boyfriend/abusersuccessfully prosecuted. She also successfully campaigned tochangeimage-based sexual abuse laws in the UK. That is queen sh-t.
