Gwen Stefani was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to promote her makeup line GXVE Beauty (pronounced “give”). I really want to try the gel liner. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’ve been on a year-long search for brown liquid waterproof eyeliner because MAC discontinued their Liquid Last product in brown. Liquid Last, in my experience, and I have really oily eyelids, is the best on the market, it doesn’t f-cking move. Every other liner I have ever tried – and I think I’ve tried almost all of them – hasn’t made it three hours without leaking and smudging. But for whatever reason, MAC decided to only offer Liquid Last in black and stopped producing the other colours….WHY!?
Anyway, I haven’t been able to find a brown replacement but I am super interested in Gwen’s, a pencil that goes on like a liquid and supposedly lasts 24 hours. I don’t believe it, yet, but I’m willing to give it a shot. Especially in this cobalt blue.
That looks good, right? Will it hold up to my oily eye test though? This will be the challenge.

This look is excellent – the bomber, the matching sport shorts, a bodysuit underneath, and you’ll note, if you go in tight, even her bra is the same print. Now I’m on the hunt for a check-print bralette. Five minutes later, just found one. Guess who makes it? Vans, of course!
