There’s not much to say here because Chris Pine has been pretty quiet – but he is popular, and I know for many of you he is your Chris. So here are some fresh shots of Chris taken this morning in LA on his coffee run.
Chris’s last big release, of course, was1984年神奇女侠。Can you believe that was almost a year and a half ago? Since then, he’s been working steadily but his projects won’t be out until 2022 or 2023. And he has several, the most high-profile of which is the Dungeons & Dragons movie. I have never played Dungeons & Dragons, I don’t know how it works. Not sure how and why I missed it, considering I’m an 80s kid but given that I have no history with the game, that explains why I have zero excitement about the movie. Pretty sure I’m in the minority.
I’m more excited about Chris in Olivia Wilde’sDon’t Worry Darling. The plot for the film has been kept pretty secret but it’s set in the 1950s, with Florence Pugh as a bored housewife married to Harry Styles who has his own dark secrets and Chris plays a community leader, like the big dude on the block, who’s described almost like a cult leader. I love this for him. And it’s almost looking like a festival season release, so we could be looking at an awards run next year.
Until then, though, enjoy Chris in his RBG tank with green joggers. He looks pretty great in these green joggers, and it reminds me, I have joggers in almost every colour but not green. I should fix that.
