Jay-Z hosted a party this weekend in New York to celebrate the reopening and anniversary of his 40/40 Club along with an impressive guest list – Meek Mill, Van Jones, Pusha T, Swizz Beats, Lil Uzi Vert and more were all there. Also Megan Thee Stallion. Here she is with her boyfriend, Pardi Fontaine:

I’m mentioning this because last week, in my post about Megan’s dispute with her label, 1501, when shefiled court documentsaccusing them of blocking the release of her “Butter” remix with BTS, I noted that she had some muscle behind her. Megan is managed by Jay’s Roc Nation. And, clearly, she has a strong relationship with Jay and, of course, Beyoncé.
Which is the actual point of this post, as always. Beyoncé was there, but you’ll note, even though Jay walked the carpet and made himself available for select media, and she and Jay were papped when they were leaving at the end of the night, she seemed to be the only guest not photographed by event photographers and no one captured her arrival. As we know, B has her own people take her photos which she makes available on her social channels:
There are also no shots of her on other people’s social channels, at least not that I’ve seen. So she was there, but people knew enough not to put their phone in her face.
Still, as she told us last week, it’s Virgo season, it’s her season. Which is why she could be more visible than we’ve seen from her in a while. We are approaching the Ruby Jubilee, Beyoncé’s 40th birthday, on Saturday, September 4. Last week it was the Tiffany reveal. This weekend was the 40/40 anniversary. Is there more planned as we approach the long weekend? Jay’s Made in America festival is happening, and there have been rumours about reunions and other surprises.
There’s no way the Queen will be low-key for this milestone, is there?
