Basically the promise is that if you tag the Delola brand, you might end up on her IG. So, you know, if you’re thirsty enough…
This is a JLo enterprise that makes no sense to me (oranyone at LG). That said, I’m never going to dump on her hustle. When she commits to something, good or bad, whether it’s a movie or a song or a series or a spritz, she goes all in. And we’re about to see that withThe Mother,her new Netflix movie premiering May 12. So that’s coming up soon. Which means we’ll be seeing a lot more of her on the press circuit – junkets, talk shows, red carpet.
But what I’m wondering about isThis Is Me…Now. She announced the album back in November 2022. And she even did some early promo for it. So it’s been almost six months, still no exact release date. They’re saying summer 2023. And there have been a few teasers here and there recently, like in this post where she’s throwing back to “I’m Glad” and hinting that she’ll be performing it again soon…
That song, as we all know, was written for Ben Affleck. Maybe even with Ben Affleck because she’s talked about when they were so in love back then, over 20 years ago now, and how he was in the studio tweaking the lyrics with her.This Is Me… Nowis an extension ofThis Is Me… Then,a companion album two decades later. So I’m curious about the timing and when she’ll finally put it out there. Maybe their first wedding anniversary? They were married in Vegas last year on July 16.
Here they are yesterday, with their sons Max and Samuel, attending Samuel’s school event. As we have seen time and again, they all look pretty comfortable and happy together. Jennifer Garner was also seen arriving separately, so another example of the fact that they do all make space for each other on certain occasions involving the kids. They just make a point of not allowing any photos of it to get out there. This is the money shot they will not give up.
