Whatever it is that Kanye West is doing right now, and it’s always drama, Julia Fox is no longer part of it. Which…should surprise no one. They were playing a game that everyone knew was a game. And now the game is over,as her rep has confirmed that“Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together”. And Julia posted this on Instagram stories (since deleted) after it was reported that she was seen crying and heartbroken over being dumped. As IF.
Seriously, was there anyone out there invested in the narrative that it was true romance between these two? We were watching a show that knew it was a show. Who’s the amateur trying to out-fiction something that was already highly fictionalised?

Speaking of hustlers hustling though… have you been watchingInventing Anna? I’m four episodes in and should finish by the end of the week. The New York Times just publisheda new interview with Anna Sorokin yesterday. Guess whose name came up? LOL, a hustler knows a hustler – Julia Fox knows Anna Sorokin aka Delvey. Julia posted about Anna on IG a few weeks ago. So Anna was asked about her:
“We have some mutual friends — she is a girl about town. We actually connected on Instagram when I was out, and we DM’d a bit, and then she jumped on my Clubhouse, which was really random. I was answering people’s questions about my experience, and she made the forum so much better. She asked all the right questions. We have a similar sense of humor. She was never judgmental, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since.
She has lots of interesting creative projects going on, and I feel like the media is not doing her justice talking about her dating life. We are actually working on a little something together.”
Two hustlers here, but what’s the difference? Superficially, right off the top, beyond the fact that nothing Julia has done has been criminal, is that Anna for a long time refused to admit she was a scammer, that she was on the game. Julia doesn’t pretend she’s not in it just to be in it. She just called herself a “#1 hustler”. She was dating billionaires before Kanye. Anna faked it to get people to trust her. Julia is telling you not to trust her before she comes in to take what she wants.
