I love Jordan Peele and I hate Jordan Peele. I love him because, well, he’s a generational talent, an incredible filmmaker. I hate him because I typically do not f-ck with the kind of films he makes – Jordan Peele specialises in horror/thriller, not my genre. But his movies are also political and sociological meditations on humanity and as a result of his talent and his storytelling, he’s joined that small club of directors whose projects are an Event unto themselves. The cast doesn’t matter, his name alone brings people to the theatre. And he has built his own cinematic universe with the next entry beingNope, the premiere was last night and so far reactions are to be expected…a very loud Yep. Sarah will be posting her review soon. Until then, let’s enjoy this red carpet because the Jordan Peele Cinematic Universe was VERY well attended, featuring the stars ofNopeand JPCU alumni and other major celebrities.

丹尼尔·Kaluuya和柯克·帕尔默兄弟姐妹在玩耍e movie –Nopeof course reunites Daniel with Jordan after the overwhelming success ofGet Outbut this is definitely Keke’s most high-profile film…and it’s not like Keke has a small profile. Still, her celebrity will for sure rise to the next level onceNopebecomes the conversation it is destined to become after it opens this weekend. And she looks incredible in this white corset.

In addition to Daniel and Keke,Nopealso stars Steven Yeun and my new problem, Brandon Perea. Steven has cut his hair, probably for his role in Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming and much-anticipated follow-up toParasite, Mickey7. It’s a space movie which might explain the shorter length. As for Brandon Perea… look at his face, I don’t need to explain.

And then there’s Lupita Nyong’o, a member of the Jordan Peele Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars Cinematic Universe, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lupita is wearing the most perfect little black dress. This cut is classic, it belongs in every closet.

Speaking of the MCU, Michael B Jordan showed up too. He’s yet to join the JPCU but it might only be a matter of time before we see a Jordan-Jordan production. This is MBJ’s first red carpet since he and Lori Harvey broke up, the first red carpet of his single summer and so far, this single summer, he’s big on the tight white tank. I appreciate this energy.

This shot of MBJ with Daniel makes me a little sad though. Because we all know who’s missing here.

And finally…

Oh my God Kelly Rowland in this dress.
