Ten years ago, when the Victoria’s Secret fashion show was still a thing, it felt like Leonardo DiCaprio and Adam Levine flipped through the calendar together, making their choices. Both were regular attendees and/or performers at the event. And both, as we have seen, were regularly in the company of the models in their personal time. Like I just said, Leo and Adam had a similar and well-known reputation. Nearly a decade later, Adam is married to one of those models, Behati Prinsloo, and they have two children, with another on the way. He has been the top gossip story this weekafter being put on blast by Sumner Stroh。And Leo might be the biggest celebrity beneficiary of Adam’s scandal. Because just five minutes ago Leo was the scandal. Leo was the celebrity sleeze trending on Twitter after his breakup with Camila Morrone became official, as people clowned his ass for his age limit.
But now? Now he can point to Adam, all like, I might like them younger than 25 but at least I’m not skeeving around on my pregnant wife! Leo, in this case, is gladly the sh-t to Adam’s diarrhea. After all, even though he gets older while his lovers stay the same age, at the very least, Leo’s not a cheater. He’s a serial (under 25) model monogamist. And the model he’s pursuing right now is apparently Gigi Hadid.
PEOPLE has ahilarious new reporton Gigi and Leo aka Gigli today. There are multiple quotes from sources in this article that made me scream. Like this one:
“Though DiCaprio recentlyparted wayswith girlfriend of four years, modelCamila Morrone, 25, he "is taken with Gigi," according to an entertainment source. "She is the type of woman he is usually attracted to."
“She is the type of woman he is usually attracted to.” LOL, does that even need to be said?
And what “type of woman” would that be?! Of course she is. She is a model! Is that a type now?!
There’s more – the PEOPLE article goes on to say that Gigi and Leo have known each other a while but were both in relationships and now the timing is finally in their favour:
“The acquaintances only sparked after DiCaprio split from Morrone, and Hadid—whoendedher rocky five-year romance with singerZayn Malikin October 2021—caught his eye. "A smart and successful girl like Gigi would intrigue Leo," says the film source.”
Gigi IS smart and successful. So is Camila. I’m not taking anything away from who they are. But are we seriously supposed to believe that “smart” and “successful” are the attributes that Leonardo DiCaprio prizes over others? Because if that were the case, how is it that in his whole life, he’s never dated anyone “smart” or “successful” over the age of 25? Are women no longer “smart” and “successful” beyond the quarter century mark?
Actually, no, hold up, wait. Gigi is 27 years old. So this is progress, I guess. Leo is interested in Gigi because she is “smart” and “successful” and those are the only reasons.
But it might not be all that serious yet. Per PEOPLE:
"Leo has not been out of his relationship with Camila long enough to jump headfirst into anything," according to another insider, who doesn't rule out a reunion. "I am not sure he is completely finished with Camila. That was a long romance."
So there’s a possibility that Leo and Camila might get back together? If you were Camila would you want to get back together after all this Gigli noise?
