Page Six reported today thatJennifer Lawrencewent to see1984on Broadway (starring Olivia Wilde and Tom Sturridge) on Monday and was sick during the performance. Apparently this show is so intense that audience members have been fainting midway through. Jennifer didn’t faint. But she vomited:
But on Monday night, a source told Page Six: “Midway through the show, Jennifer Lawrence bolted from her seat. Several people saw her getting sick in the lobby. The ushers were very helpful and courteous in helping her out.”
But a friend of Lawrence’s explained that the star’s reaction had nothing to do with the play but rather, “She caught the stomach flu from her nephews.”
Are you curious? Are you curious about what happens during1984that elicits such a response from some people? I’m curious in the same way that I’m curious about Scientology. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to walk into a Scientology centre to see what would happen. Would I walk out of there normal? Would I even know I was still normal? I’m asking because, as I may have mentioned before, I’m a fainter. I have been known to faint, very publicly. Last summer, after dinner with Duana and Lorella, I fainted on Duana’s street while walking home. A few summers ago I fainted at the MET. When I was a teenager working at a grocery store checkout, I fainted while scanning frozen peas. It’s the most Victorian thing about me. I get the vapours.

Also, I want to know aboutMother!, Jennifer Lawrence’s next film directed by Darren Aronofsky’s. They’ve deliberately kept it vague with the plot details so this is one of the most highly anticipated films due out in the fall. Supposedly a trailer is coming out this week or next. Will post if and when that happens.
