I only just now had a chance to watch the trailer for Selena Gomez’s documentary,My Mind and Me.There are many popstars who’ve produced their own “Truth or Dare” style docs over the last few years – and Selena’s film is directed by Alek Keshishian who directed Madonna’s – and these are stories interweaving the star’s personal and professional narratives. With Selena’s, it would seem as though she’s weighing the personal over the work in this film because the focus is on her health, in the hopes that by sharing her mental health experiences, others can feel less alone.
