Successionhas just ended for us but for the cast, it wrapped months ago and the cast and crew have moved onto new jobs and settled back into their real lives after a grueling filming schedule. It must be bizarre to process the end of something so huge and then have to do it again a few months later.
I loved the ending and feel at peace with saying goodbye. I pre-grieved.

There are people who will push back on what they perceive as overly sensitive “gotcha” discourse and Matty is one of those people. What adds a layer to this is that some Swifties are very emotionally invested and genuinely hurt by her dating choice. Taylor is, by design, so intertwined with them and I wonder if a bit of Matty’s attitude will rub off on her. What will happen if Taylor stops prioritizing her fans’ feelings, even a little bit?
It’s clear Matty won’t bend the knee and I’m curious to see how will her fans deal with someone who doesn’t care how they feel. (Alternatively, he is a rebound and they will break up next month and none of this sticks.)
Twitter has killed celebrity engagement but Zayn posted a message to his fans there, a short and sincere note. He has laid very low for the last few years, since all the stuff with Gigi’s mom Yolanda, and posts sporadically on Instagram. Maybe new music is coming?
