Vogue ran a classic Vogue story (by “classic” I mean tone deaf, elitist, and so pretentious it borders on satire) about heiressIvy Getty’s wedding in San Francisco. It’s the Twitter hate-read du jour. Anya Taylor-Joy was the maid of honour, Nancy Pelosi officiated the ceremony, and it seems like half of Vogue’s editorial team attended. It’s almost trolling in its earnestness, like final line ,“Miracles happen.” (The miracle being two extremely wealthy 20-somethings meeting at a Paris Fashion Week event and get married at her family’s estate). Anya Taylor-Joy used the word “miracle” as well – is this part of the family branding?

Britney Spears has a big week coming up in her conservatorship and has kept active on social media. Donatella Versace is making her wedding dress, which means a few things: Britney has enough freedom to reach out to designers, the planning is moving along and, to pay for the dress, she has access to funds.

You know who could be pretty happy about the Kim and Pete pairing? Kaley Cuoco, because as soon as she announced her divorce, there were rumblings Pete was involved because they were filming a movie together and she posted stuff on social media. Kaley’s strategy at the time (not commenting) was smart, as was her posting her own photos and videos, because it controls the narrative. People who cheat don’t tend to draw attention to it on Instagram.

It’s been almost a year sinceOlivia Jade appeared on红色的表。当时,co-hostAdrienne Banfield-Norris(Jada’s mother) said, "I just found it really ironic that she chose three Black women to reach out to for her redemption story. I feel like here we are, [a] white woman coming to Black women for support when we don't get the same from them. Her being here is the epitome of white privilege to me."Olivia’s follow-up public move isDancing With the Stars. As Cody wrote a year ago, “She [Banfield-Norris] explains that a year from now she may care more, but in the current climate she’s struggling to find any compassion for these circumstances and clarifies that her anger isn’t personal.” So a year in, should Banfield-Norris care any more than she did that day? It seems she was right and Olivia Jade used The Red Table as a stepping stone to the network TV cha-cha. Gammy saw right through it.

Jeff Goldblum, Kathy Griffin, and John Waters have joined搜索队for its final season – I f-cking love this show. It’s so weird and funny and dark, there’s really nothing else like it.
