Page Six has abullsh-t storyabout James Corden “avoiding” asking Kristin Davis about Chris Noth. Why should Kristin Davis be asked anything about Chris Noth? She’s not accused of wrongdoing, he is. They have a professional relationship and she in no way should be asked to answer or comment about his behavior when she’s fulfilling a professional obligation. Putting her in that position would have been sh-tty (and James Corden is not in the business of being sh-tty to celebrities).

Very interested in Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney but try to keep it low-key because I don’t want to jinx anything, you know? But any family photo is like a shot of serotonin. They gotengaged at Danny DeVito’s house!

Bruce Springsteen has sold his masters to Sony Music in a deal reportedly worth $500 million. The buying and selling of masters has been a hot topic of conversation because of Taylor Swift, but this is a long-time fight for musicians, from Prince to the Beatles to Big Mama Thornton (read more about her here). Bruce has had control of his work from early in his career, and for whatever reason (maybe he wants to cash out, or maybe he doesn’t want his heirs to have the responsibility of dealing with the complications of managing his work in the future), he exercised his right to sell. And that’s what’s my takeaway here is— it’s not that all artists want to necessarily own their work, but they want a level of control that allows them to decide who it goes to and under what terms.
