Pretty much exactly a year ago, Justin Timberlake, during an interview to promote his new album, something something about plaid, that no one f-cking cared about, said that doing a Las Vegas residency was like “planning your retirement”. Then Lady Gaga announced a Vegas residency a few months later, starred inA Star is Born, kicked off the residency during the hype of award season, and got nominated for an Oscar. Cardi B released an album that was one of the most successful of the year, wayyyy more successful than Justin’s, got nominated for several Grammys, and is now heading to Vegas too. You think Justin’s making some calls now about the possibility of a residency of his own? (Dlisted)

约翰·特拉沃尔塔和凯莉·普雷斯顿封面of the new issue of Us Weekly. As Kaiser says, it’s an interesting choice. But it’s also a reminder that so many gossip consumers who don’t live online have an entirely different gossip understanding. Especially the ones who browse at the checkout stand. (Cele|bitchy)

Emily Blunt is in Japan promotingMary Poppins Returns. She’s wearing custom Gucci. It’s fine. I don’t love it, I don’t hate it. But I do have questions. Custom? For a movie premiere when the SAGs are in three days. Was this the dress she always intended to wear in Tokyo or did the Oscar nominations (and lack thereof) affect the decision? Probably had nothing to do with it. But if she’s wearing custom Gucci in Japan for a premiere, now I really want to know what she’ll be in at the SAGs where she’s nominated twice. (Go Fug Yourself)

Chris Pine was in New York earlier this week to promoteI am The Night.Annabelle Wallis was seen in town too and while she did not pose with him on the carpet at the premiere, she was with him at the after-party and they were “cozy”. (Pajiba)

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger went to dinner with his son. Where do you think they’ll get married? It’s going to be soon, reportedly. He’ll be doing some press in the coming weeks forThe Lego Movie 2and then there’s a gap of six weeks or so before the press begins forAvengers: Endgame. Before that? Or after? California for sure, right? Like…not the Kennedy compound? (TMZ)
