A Room of Your Own book club is a Canadian non-profit for at-risk teen girls founded by Tanya Marie Lee. Each book club participant received a book a month and they have the opportunity to meet the author and discuss what they’ve read. In 2019,they met Michelle Obama.
This Saturday, A Room of Your Own will host a virtual event for high school students, parents, and educators featuring the author ofNothing But The Truth,玛丽Henein。45分钟后discussion about the Canadian justice system, participants will then be encouraged to join breakout rooms moderated by lawyers from around the country. The whole point of this is to ask questions, even if they’re challenging ones. Conversation is the goal here. Registration information is below:
