Dear Gossips,
And musical theatre nerds! Tonight is Rent: Live! Duana and Kathleen texted me before Christmas with a request: We want to live blog the broadcast. They each claim to love Rent more than the other and have been looking foward to this night for a long long time. And in that time they've been storing up some tears - yes even Duana, as Kathleen cries all the time anyway.
So thank you for joining us to cry with them and laugh and, of course, sing along to every word in this old school throwback format. We're trying out a new application so apologies in advance if there are some kinks but if all goes as we expect it to go which is smoothly, your comments will also appear periodically on the screen which means you can yell and sob and fistpump at and along with Duana and Kathleen for the next three hours (starting at 7:50ET - watch for the live blog widget below shortly before the start).
