There are thousands of takes on Alec Baldwin – he’s a douchebag, he has a temper, he talks too much, he thinks too highly of himself – and, of course, all of them are valid. But here’s my take from an interviewer’s perspective: he’s a great interview. For all of his flaws (and there are many, I get it, I am NOT defending Alec Baldwin, please read what I’m trying to say), all I’m trying to say is that when you’re interviewing Alec, you know it’s not going to be boring. To the surprise of no one, Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment after four days of marriage. Four days ago is when news first broke that he and Erika Koike had gotten married. But along with that headline came information that they were fighting the whole time and Nic was yelling at Erika about trying to steal his money, or something. Now there are new photos of them arguing that night and details from the paperwork that include, obviously, the fact that they were drunk when it happened and the suggestion that Erika may have been involved with someone else or something and might be trying to swindle him. Right. So by the end of this weekend, are they going to be back together again? (TMZ)
