I’m all about the 70s. Patterned sets, high-waist everything, and clogs. Yes, I said clogs.

They’ve been making an appearance for a couple of seasons, but you’re really gonna see them in full force this year. Now, I know my limits and doing a closed toe traditional clog won’t be my jam because in my opinion, if you don’t have super long legs, things can end up feeling stumpy. So in order to get that elongated look, I’m going with the open toe. I’ve been looking for a while, but as soon as I spottedthese Aldo ones, I knew I had found THE pair!

They are exactly what I’ve been looking for. The side metal studding, the wood platform, and while these definitely have some height, they’re no ankle breaker. And the best part for me is that they are actually really comfortable! The platform really helps to support your foot and the shoe itself is surprisingly light so it’s not like you’re heave-hoeing them around.

So how to wear them? I mean, the answer is with anything. Of course, the no-brainer is with any slim, straight or wide leg pant. But they amp up a dress like nobody’s business. In fact, another big trend this spring season is the silk calf length skirt and that’s how I’m imagining my look - silk skirt, a t-shirt tucked in and these clogs. Done and done.
